we’re a group of best friends (tania, anthony, aarum, cristal, lydia) who hang out at our local bar (the airliner) and imagine our futures together in los angeles. we live with an understanding that nightlife is resistance. the music we make and mix is resistance. dancing is resistance. so, we decided to co-host a party together to share just that <3
we’re friends who dance towards liberation. with every beat drop, a heightened sense of self comes to the surface and the shared challenges of our city releases. even for that moment, the sweat, smiles, and joy of every move we make reminds us of the power that dancing side by side with another has.
we channel our joy to lead a present that resists violence against our neighbors, our loved ones, our natural environment, and our communities in any way we can. we are all together driven by the same purpose in a space dedicated to experiencing joy.
